Guest Posted January 26, 2004 Share Posted January 26, 2004 What if it could be possibile to link several MTA Servers to each other ? for instance, say a friend runs a server, and he's got a slow connection, and i want to take over some of his bandwidth load by linking his server to my server... you could also divide the City Map over several servers when linked together... the loading screen could trigger a re-route to another server in the chain, that works together with the server of the City Area you left... I guess the server where you first connect could send an announcement to your client like server Blah1 is for Airport area, Blah2 is for leaf links etc... and if you go to another part of the city, you'll automaticly will be redirected to the appropiate server.
